Student Testimonials

I wanted to share this discovery from my most recent chiropractor visit. I had gone through my annual review,
which includes a series of x-rays that the doctor looks at and talks about. My spinal scoliosis has improved over the last year. My spine moved from a -.06 to a -.04. The doctor told me that means my spine is moving into a straighter alignment. I asked and she acknowledged much of the change is due to my work with Feldenkrais exercises - something she believes in and strongly advocated for me to continue. As I get older and my body goes through
various age-related changes I am increasingly aware of paying attention to how my body is working and responding to conditions. Its amazing - I now sit on my sitz bones, I watch my pelvis when walking and best of all, I don't fall!
I am substantially more able to catch myself from falling. Hoorah!!!
I have also learned that I get better the more I practice. Guess that makes me one of your forever clients.
Thanks for showing me a new way of being. -AA

My interpretation of what improvement means has been expanded 360°.  Improvement through Feldenkrais® Lessons facilitates the expansion of creativity. Expanded creativity means I can go through life with more ease, because I am easily able to find solutions. Consider walking: using the big lens of attention ATM lessons create, there becomes an expansive world of things to try to get from A to B. It's a creative process, not just ambulation. -VB

Awareness plays out everywhere. I notice when I am getting ahead of myself, too far out in front of myself.
I then am able to relax around potential danger. ATM Lessons build attention without force.
Attention improves everything.
